Thereza Hurtado

Thereza Hurtado is a seasoned multilingual professional with over 30 years of experience as a certified translator and expertise in international documentation and cross-border compliance. She is the founder of Phoenix Service Provider, a boutique firm offering apostille, notarial, and consular facilitation services tailored for globally minded individuals, professionals, and businesses.

Fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, and French, Thereza has dedicated her career to helping people navigate complex international systems with clarity and ease. Her extensive background includes working for the Brazilian Embassy in three countries, where she gained firsthand experience in international law, document legalization, and consular procedures.

In addition, Thereza acts as a consular document facilitator (“despachante consular”), assisting clients in processing and expediting official documents through the Orlando Brazilian Consulate—making complex consular procedures smooth and efficient.

After decades in the translation and diplomatic world, she launched Phoenix Service Provider in 2025 to deliver fast, elegant, and reliable apostille, notary, and consular services. Today, she serves clients across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe, helping them move, work, study, or expand abroad without the stress of red tape.

Known for her integrity, discretion, and personalized service, Thereza is steadily building a global brand rooted in trust and professionalism.

When she’s not assisting clients, she enjoys teaching English to Brazilian adults, savoring a good espresso, and traveling between Florida and Europe to grow her international business vision.
